The paleo diet inspires images of cavemen on the hunt. But it’s not about dragging your meat home. Paleo is about a return to the roots of what your body needs. It’s a template on eating healthy and re-introducing the best food for your body.  The focus is on whole, unprocessed, nutrient-rich food. It is about locally-sourced, grass-fed meat, and good oils such as coconut oil, full-fat butter, olive and avocado oils. It means fresh vegetables cooked or raw and high-starch vegetables such as sweet potato.
